The season is drawing to a close

Well the season is drawing to a close and with one trophy already in the bag, can United make it a 19th league title and a historic 4 in a row? 5 games to go tickets are tough to come by lets get behond the boys. Come on United

Tuesday 9 March 2010

Well the season is reaching the critical point, we are all on the edge of our seat now and wondering whether United can make it 4 in a row, a feat that has never before been achieve in the top flight of english football. Will United do it or will Chelsea spoil the party. It has been and up and down season for United with lots of unrest off the pitch but on the pitch we have seen a footballing masterclass from Wayne Rooney. Many thought with Ronaldo gone the goal would dry up but young wayne has stepped up to the mark brilliantly. With all the games now becoming massive tickets are becoming few a far between and becomeing increasingly more difficult to get hold of. Lets all put our hands together and pray for a historic 4 in a row for the reds from Manchester

The season ahead

With the new season only a matter of weeks away now, manchester united fans all over the world wait in anticipation of how new players such as Michael Owen, Antonio Valencia will fit in to the already talented squad, also fans wait and see if there is another year left in the United stalwarts such as Ryan Giggs and Paul Scholes.

The first ballots for tickets have opened for the away games against newcomers Burnley and also premiership team Wigan Athletic. With plenty of fans expected this year ticketing for Manchester United will once again be tough with the hope of ballots going your way.

There doesnt seem to be a clear title favourite this year with none of Manchester Uniteds rivals such as Chelsea, Liverpool or Arsenal spending big, the big movers this year seem to be Manchester City, bringing in such names as Emmanuel Adebeyour and Man United ex fans favourite Carlos Tevez, although in many expert circles Manchester City are still a long way off challenging the dominance of their city neighbours and premiership champions Manchester United.

Todays news and gossip

Since Ferie announced that there would be no new signings the papers have gone quiet about new players being linked with the club, so instead they have turned to speculation on the Michael Owen and Federico Macheda partnership, and how succesful they will be.

In other news Berbatov has given an interview saying that he can score more goals for United and raise his level of play, and to be honest he needs to after a very lacklustre season.

Todays transfer gossip!

Nothing much of note on the horizon, United have again been linked with David Villa and Douglas Costa but no direct quotes and with United's insistence that no more players will be brought in I would'nt hold your breath.
